Jimmy created Tapiohka with one question in mind, "What would have made me a more successful student?" Out of this grew a simple solution that is easy to use and focuses on connecting the class through tools that encourage collaboration and class participation. Jimmy's ultimate goal was to provide a platform where students not only learn from their teachers and textbooks, but from each other in a new and exciting way.
Jimmy graduated from the University of Kansas in 2002. After several successful years with T-Mobile in their business division he decided to venture off on his own and shortly after Tapiohka was born.
